Dietary Manager

As a Dietary Manager, you'll partner with our Dietitian to plan, organize, and direct the overall operation of our Dietary Department, ensuring that quality nutritional services are provided to our residents on a daily basis. Your leadership and expertise will be instrumental in maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for our residents. Duties And Responsibilities Assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing the Dietary DepartmentDevelop and maintain written job descriptions and performance evaluations for dietary personnelReview policies, procedure manuals, and job descriptions for revisions and make recommendationsInspect food storage rooms, utility closets, and other areas for upkeep and supply controlProcess diet changes and new diets as received from the Nursing DepartmentReview departmental complaints and grievances from personnel and make written reportsAssist during resident discharge planningParticipate in facility surveys and maintain records of resident food likes and dislikesReview therapeutic and regular diet plans and menus for compliance with physician's ordersEnsure charted dietary progress notes are informative and descriptiveMaintain appropriate stock levels of staple and non-staple food, supplies, and equipmentAssist the Infection Control Committee in developing aseptic and isolation techniquesEnsure dietary service work areas, food storage, and food preparation areas are maintained in a clean and sanitary mannerPerform other duties as assigned Benefits Medical InsuranceDental InsuranceVision InsuranceFlexible Spending Account (FSA)Life InsuranceCritical Illness InsuranceShort-Term Disability InsuranceAccident InsuranceHospital Indemnity Insurance401(k) Retirement Savings PlanOn-Demand Pay OptionPaid Time Off (PTO)Tuition Reimbursement Program Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent requiredFood Service Sanitation Manager Certification requiredMinimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory capacity in a hospital, nursing care facility, or related medical facilityKnowledge of dietary practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines governing dietary functions in nursing care facilitiesStrong organizational, leadership, and communication skills Join the RYZE West Team Make a difference in the lives of our residents and join the RYZE West team as our Dietary Manager.
