Dietary Cook/ PRN

About the role

As a Dietary Cook, you will help provide the nutritional needs of our residents, staff, and guests. You will cook and serve food following specific, predetermined standards and nutritional or dietary guidelines. This role is essential to the health of our residents.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to nutritional or dietary guidelines
• Serve food to residents, staff, and guests

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED (minimum requirement)
• Food Handler's permit required
• Ability to speak, understand, and write fluent English
• Customer service skills

Qualifications

• Experience in food preparation and service as a Dietary Cook (preferred)
• Experience in Long-Term Care (LTC) Dietary (preferred)
• Experience in elderly care or cooking for individuals with strict dietary restrictions (highly desirable)
