Dietary Cook (PRN)
Responsibilities
- Ensures meals are ready at a specified time.
- Follows types and quantities of meats, vegetables and soups prepared by reviewing planned menus.
- Ability to follow therapeutic diet menus, recipes and instruct cooks helpers on the same.
- Tests food being cooked to ensure doneness. Adjust heat controls, as necessary. Able to re-calibrate thermometers as needed.
- Ensure kitchen and dining room area is clean and sanitized.

- Able to work the schedule as prescribed for the department
