Dietary Cook

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Cook and serve meals according to written menus and standardized recipes.
• Ensure food is prepared in a sanitary manner and meets quality standards.
• Monitor and maintain proper temperatures during meal service.
• Clean equipment and work areas as directed by the Dietary Manager.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a dietary environment at a large establishment.
• Health care experience preferred.
• Previous knowledge and care of food service equipment required.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred, with experience in long-term care or hospital settings.

Pay

Pay Range: $15.05 to $21.17
