Dietary Cook

About the role

Tutera Senior Living & Health Care is seeking a Dietary Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a fire and passion for working with seniors, a flexible and fun personality, a high school diploma or equivalent, prior dietary experience in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting, and one year of experience as a cook in a large-scale cooking operation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals according to the menu
• Maintain and enhance residents' overall health through nutritionally appropriate food service
• Monitor methods of food handling, preparation, meal service, and equipment cleaning
• Ensure compliance with Federal, State, and Local regulations regarding food service and nutrition care

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior dietary experience in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting
• One year of experience as a cook in a large-scale cooking operation
