About the role
Tutera Senior Living & Health Care is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dietary Cook to join our team. The role involves preparing and serving meals, monitoring food handling and preparation, ensuring proper nutrition, and adhering to regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve meals according to the menu
- Maintain cleanliness of food preparation areas and equipment
- Monitor food handling and preparation methods
- Ensure quality food service and nutrition care compliance with regulations
- Provide nutritionally appropriate food to residents
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior dietary experience in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting preferred
- One year of experience as a cook in a large-scale cooking operation preferred
Qualifications
- Fire and passion for working with seniors
- A flexible, fun, and energetic personality
