About the role

Faulkton Area Medical Center is seeking a dependable and motivated Dietary Cook to join their team. They are committed to providing high-quality, compassionate care to their patients and community.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and serve meals following established menus and therapeutic diet guidelines
• Cook daily food preparation and meal service
• Interact with patients to gather meal preferences and support dietary needs
• Maintain food safety standards, portion control, and proper sanitation practices
• Aid with inventory, supply management, and kitchen organization
• Support training and daily workflow of dietary staff

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred
• Food service experience is preferred (not required)
• A willingness to obtain ServSafe certification within one year
• A strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Excellent customer service skills with a patient, courteous approach
• A commitment to safety, confidentiality, and quality standards
