Dietary Cook

Aspire Senior Living Jonesburg is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dietary Cook to join our team in Jonesburg, Missouri.

About the role

As a Dietary Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality of food service to our residents.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals according to dietary needs and preferences
• Assist with food preparation, including food storage, labeling, and rotation
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to safety and sanitation standards
• Assist with tray delivery and collection, as well as resident meal service
• Monitor and maintain accurate records of food service, including inventory and menu planning
• Collaborate with the dietary team to ensure seamless meal service and support
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements

• Experience in food service or a related field (training will be provided)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
• Physical stamina to lift, push, and pull heavy loads (up to 50 pounds)
• Reliable transportation to and from work
