Diesel Technician-Premium pay

About the role

Findlay is one of the largest and fastest‑growing automotive groups in the Southwest U.S. We are seeking experienced, journeyman technicians to support our booming service business and the new 12‑bay medium‑duty shop with a crane system for lifting engines and transmissions. Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.
• Test‑drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor to keep customers informed of any additional service needed.
• Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
• Execute warranty repairs to manufacturer specifications.

Qualifications

• Relevant certifications and previous experience at an automotive facility.
• Strong teamwork skills.
• Valid in‑state driver’s license and automobile insurance.
• Clean driving record.
