Responsibilities
- Diagnoses, estimates, and repairs highly complex electrical and mechanical systems, primarily on tractors, following standard operating procedures (SOP).
- Completes routine rebuilds and replacements, makes best value and safety decisions to continue to operate, repair or replace, then performs technical repairs and replacement.
- Uses technical publications and other internet-based manuals, technical information, and check sheets.
- Functions as local shop subject matter expert (SME) on all tractor systems; serves as a resource for Warranty, Senior Maintenance Leadership Team, and Training department.
- Diagnoses and repairs problems in engine, component parts, exhaust, and aftertreatment systems.
- Works on various vehicle items including telematics, camera systems, steering, manual and automated transmissions, high pressure fuel injection systems, HVAC
