Responsibilities

• Provide superb customer service by diagnosing, visual inspections, removal of parts and attachments, and warranty repairs
• Perform preventative maintenance services
• Repair lights and wiring
• Welding, cutting, and other repairs
• Upsales for monthly bonus incentive

This position reports to the Service Manager and is a 40-hour-a-week role eligible for overtime. For well-qualified, proven efficient applicants, we also offer a flat-rate compensation plan.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Three years of diesel truck service and computer diagnostics experience
• Mechanical aptitude and technical ability
• Ability to operate power and hand tools and other equipment safely
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
• Professional appearance and strong oral/written communication skills with customers, vendors, and other contacts

Physical Demands

• Stand six to eight hours per shift
• Stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, handle, and feel
• Use hand and power tools
• Lift parts weighing up to 70 pounds several times during each shift
• Use hoist and test equipment
• Exposure to noise, vibration, dust, exhaust fumes, and other hazardous and nonhazardous materials
