About the role
Freightliner of Hartford is seeking Diesel Technicians with a minimum of three years of experience working on heavy-duty trucks. You should have a general understanding of heavy-duty truck systems, diesel engines, and after-treatment devices. We are a certified training location for Freightliner and offer on-the-job factory training in a great working environment that values employee suggestions for business improvement.
A monthly incentive program is available, potentially adding up to an additional $1,000 per month.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair heavy-duty trucks
- Diagnose and service diesel engines and after-treatment devices
- Participate in on-the-job factory training
Requirements
- Minimum of three years of experience working on heavy-duty trucks
- General understanding of heavy-duty truck systems
- Understanding of diesel engines and after-treatment devices
