Diesel Technician

About the role

Freightliner of Hartford is seeking Diesel Technicians with a minimum of three years of experience working on heavy-duty trucks. You should have a general understanding of heavy-duty truck systems, diesel engines, and after-treatment devices. We are a certified training location for Freightliner and offer on-the-job factory training in a great working environment that values employee suggestions for business improvement.

A monthly incentive program is available, potentially adding up to an additional $1,000 per month.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair heavy-duty trucks
• Diagnose and service diesel engines and after-treatment devices
• Participate in on-the-job factory training

Requirements

• Minimum of three years of experience working on heavy-duty trucks
• General understanding of heavy-duty truck systems
• Understanding of diesel engines and after-treatment devices

Pay

$25–$45 per hour, based on experience and knowledge.
