Job Summary
Seeking a skilled technician responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining medium to heavy-duty trucks, trailers, reefer units, and related equipment.
Key Duties
- Performing preventative maintenance
- Inspecting brake systems, steering, and other critical components
- Ensuring equipment compliance with licensing and registration requirements
- Documenting all repairs and maintenance activities
- Using various hand and power tools
- Repairing onboard computers
- Conducting routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes and battery checks
- Performing road call services
- Training other employees
Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
- 5-7 years of experience in medium to heavy-duty vehicle repair, including preventive maintenance, diagnostics, electrical troubleshooting, and overhauls
- Minimum of 2 years' experience with refrigeration systems and diesel engine/transmission rebuilds
