Seeking a skilled technician to perform preventative maintenance and repairs on medium to heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and reefer units.
Responsibilities
- Inspecting and repairing fleet equipment
- Ensuring compliance with regulations
- Documenting work via an online system
- Performing road call services as needed
- Diagnosing issues
- Replacing parts
- Inspecting critical systems like brakes and steering
- Conducting routine maintenance using hand and power tools
Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
- At least 2 years of experience in medium to heavy-duty vehicle repair, including preventive maintenance, electrical troubleshooting, diagnostics, and A/C refrigeration
Skills
- Proficiency with repair tools and diagnostic equipment
- Strong communication skills for professional interaction with colleagues
- Ability to perform inspections, repairs, and routine maintenance efficiently
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance and documentation procedures
