Diesel Mechanic Technician - Full-Time, 4-Day Work Week

About the role

We are seeking a skilled technician responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining medium to heavy-duty trucks, trailers, reefer units, and related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Performing preventative maintenance
• Inspecting critical systems such as brakes and steering
• Ensuring vehicles meet licensing and safety standards
• Documenting repairs
• Performing road call services
• Installing onboard computers
• Using various hand and power tools

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 5-7 years of experience in vehicle repair, including diagnostics, electrical troubleshooting, and refrigeration or engine rebuilds
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to train others
