About the role
Seeking a skilled technician responsible for preventative maintenance and repairs of medium to heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and refrigeration units. The role involves inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing fleet diesel equipment, ensuring compliance with regulations, and maintaining thorough documentation of work performed.
Responsibilities
- Performing routine maintenance
- Replacing parts
- Installing onboard computers
- Inspecting critical systems such as brakes and steering
- Performing road call services as needed
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- At least 2+ years of experience in medium/heavy-duty vehicle repair, including diagnostics, electrical troubleshooting, air brake systems, and A/C refrigeration
- Proficiency with hand and power tools, and familiarity with online work order systems
