Diesel Mechanic Technician B - 3rd Shift

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled technician to perform preventative maintenance and repairs on medium to heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and refrigeration units. The role involves diagnosing issues, conducting inspections, replacing parts, and ensuring all equipment complies with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Document work orders accurately
• Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes and brake inspections
• Install onboard computers
• Communicate professionally with colleagues
• Perform road call services when needed
• Ensure vehicles are roadworthy with proper licensing and registration

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
• At least 2 years of experience in medium to heavy-duty vehicle repair, including diagnostics, electrical troubleshooting, and refrigeration systems
• Proficiency with hand and power tools, including pneumatic wrenches and welding equipment
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety procedures
• Strong documentation and communication skills
