Diesel Mechanic Technician

About the role

Seeking a skilled maintenance technician responsible for preventative and corrective maintenance of medium to heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and refrigeration units.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, repairs, and diagnosing issues using computerized diagnostics and hand tools
• Ensure equipment is roadworthy with proper licensing and registration
• Document all work in an online system
• Install onboard computers
• Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes and brake inspections
• Adhere to safety standards
• Perform road call services as needed

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 2 years of experience in medium to heavy-duty vehicle repair, including electrical troubleshooting, A/C refrigeration, and diagnostics
• Professional communication skills
