About the role

Under limited supervision, you will repair and maintain our fleet of vehicles and equipment while training and developing junior technicians.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair fleet vehicles and equipment
• Read and interpret Vehicle Condition Reports and repair orders
• Communicate with supervisor and equipment operators for clarification of maintenance needs
• Complete paperwork associated with repairing vehicles, documenting parts usage, and accounting for applied times
• Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with OSHA and organizational standards
• Train and develop junior technicians
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned
• Maintain a positive work environment by acting and communicating in a manner that fosters good relationships with customers, clients, vendors, co-workers, and management

Requirements

• Equivalent of a high school diploma or G.E.D. certification and 4 years of related equipment maintenance and repair; OR 6 years of related equipment maintenance and repair
• Valid driver license

Physical Requirements

• Handle tools and equipment requiring fine motor skills
• Reach with hands and arms
• Climb and walk on heights often greater than 4 feet
• Occasionally lift equipment weighing up to 50 lbs
