Role Overview

The Diesel and Construction Equipment Mechanic is responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing diesel-powered vehicles and heavy equipment at a state park complex.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Diesel and Construction Equipment Mechanic trainee program or two years of relevant experience, including diesel repair.
• Must hold active Pennsylvania mechanic certification and a Class C driver’s license.

Skills & Requirements

• Skilled in diagnostics, repair, and maintenance of diverse equipment, with ability to follow safety protocols.
• Strong record-keeping and reporting skills are essential.
