About the role

Dialysis Clinic, Inc. is recruiting Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) to support our mission of providing personalized care to patients with end-stage renal disease. The PCTs play a crucial role in the interdisciplinary team, ensuring safe and high-quality care for every patient.

Responsibilities

  • Actively participate in infection control, risk management, and patient education activities.
  • Guide new patients through a 120-day education plan.
  • Obtain and record patient vital signs and machine readings during treatment.
  • Set up and break down dialysis blood systems for treatment.
  • Insert and remove patient access needles under RN supervision.
  • Maintain professional working relationships, observing patient privacy and rights.
  • Maintain and track inventory.
  • Perform laboratory work as directed.

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Desire to collaborate with care teams.
  • Ability to problem solve.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous healthcare experience preferred, but not required.
  • CNA, EMT, medical assistant, CNT, and/or phlebotomy skills desired.
  • Job shadow opportunities available.

Pay

Compensation range from $19-$21 per hour, depending on healthcare experience; experience not required.

Schedule

Full-time, four 10-hour shifts starting at 4am; Sundays off; no overnight shifts.
