About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Charge Nurse for a dialysis clinic. The role involves overseeing all aspects of patient care, including admissions, transfers, discharges, assessments, and dialysis procedures, ensuring adherence to policies and physician orders.
Responsibilities
- Conducting daily patient rounds
- Addressing grievances
- Mentoring staff
- Developing and implementing care plans to achieve clinical outcomes
- Ensuring accurate documentation and patient education
- Collaborating with medical staff during patient rounds
- Communicating patient needs effectively
- Maintaining strict confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA policies
Qualifications
- Current Alaska RN license
- CPR certification
- At least 1 year of clinical nursing experience (6 months in dialysis care preferred)
- Leadership skills
- Strong communication
- Organizational ability
- MS Office proficiency
