About the role

As a Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician (CCHT), you will provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, following Satellite policies and procedures per your state Scope of Practice. You will be the first team member to meet and greet patients on the treatment floor, ensuring they feel comfortable from the moment they enter our centers and throughout their treatment. You will advocate for patients while they are at the unit and effectively communicate with other team members to deliver quality care.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
  • Greet and welcome patients, ensuring their comfort throughout treatment.
  • Advocate for patients and communicate pertinent information to the care team.
  • Set the tone for a positive patient experience, enabling them to live better lives.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team passionate about making a difference.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma, G.E.D. certificate, or equivalent.
  • Six (6) months of active hemodialysis patient care experience as a certified hemodialysis technician.
  • BONENT (CHT), NNCC (CCHT), or NNCO (CCNT) certification (per state regulations).
  • California Department of Public Health CHT certification (required only for CA locations).
  • Current CPR certification.
