Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the Dial-A-Ride phone line, including planning and monitoring operations.
- Transport students who require rides to and from school, ensuring their safety and security during transit.
- Maintain accurate records of all pick-ups and related data.
- Collect and deliver items from the community closet to families as needed.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old and possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Maintain a clean driving record and pass a background check.
- Hold a valid Washington State Driver’s License.
- Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Capable of managing student behavior and responding effectively to emergencies.
Job-related experience is desired.
Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Pay
Salary: $18.76 per hour
Schedule
- Working days: up to 5 days per week
- Hours per day: up to 2 hours
- Temporary position for the 2026–2027 school year
Work Environment
The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following physical demands: occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; some climbing and balancing; some stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling; and some fine finger dexterity. Generally, the job requires 34% sitting, 33% walking, and 33% standing. The job is performed under minimal temperature variations and in a generally hazard-free environment.
