About the Role
Join our Regional Medical Imaging Team providing services for the Kootenay Boundary Region from the comfort of your home workstation with regular scheduled in hospital workdays at Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital in Trail, BC. We are privileged to read Medical Imaging studies from KBRH (Trail), KLH (Nelson), Castlegar and District Community Health Centre, Grand Forks' Boundary District Hospital, Slocan Community Health Centre, and Arrow Lakes Hospital in Nakusp.

- Currently building a hospital extension to house a brand new MR suite
- 1.5T MR
- 2 CTs
- 10 US
- Multiuse Fluoroscopy room for basic interventional procedures
- Diagnostic breast imaging center
- Nuclear medicine
- Bone densitometry

Compensation
Compensation Type: Fee-for-Service
Benefits and Incentives
May be eligible for additional remuneration in accordance with the Rural Subsidiary Agreement (RSA) including:
- Retention Premium: 11.48%
- Retention Flat Fee: $17,791
- Relocation Funding Available: Reimbursement up to a maximum of $9,000 for moves within BC, $12,000 for moves within Canada, and $15,000 for those relocating from outside Canada
- Recruitment Incentive: $15,000
- Rural CME: maximum of $6,600/year after 4 years in practice
The above numbers are based on a full-time position and may be prorated for physicians working less than full time. Rural incentives are subject to change and current rates are confirmed at time of offer. Candidates with a BC or Canada student loan may be eligible for loan forgiveness programs.
