About the role

Full-time opportunity combining diagnostic imaging, image-guided procedures, and collaboration with referring physicians and multidisciplinary teams across Peace Arch Hospital and Delta Hospital.

  • Broad Community Radiology Practice: Provide diagnostic imaging services across a full range of modalities:
    • General Radiography
    • Fluoroscopy
    • Ultrasound
    • Mammography
    • CT
    • MRI
    A diverse case mix in a community-focused environment.
  • Flexible Practice Model: Schedules developed six months in advance for excellent predictability and flexibility. Approximately 50% of work is performed on-site and 50% through remote reporting.
  • Procedural Opportunities: Maintain a broad procedural practice including biopsies, drainages, arthrograms, joint injections, fluoroscopy, and a variety of image-guided interventions.
  • Shared Call Coverage: Participate in the departmental call schedule, currently shared on a 1:10 basis with equitable distribution among all group members.
  • Collegial Team Culture: Join a close-knit group of 10 Radiologists that values collaboration, professionalism, high-quality reporting, and strong relationships with technologists, clinicians, and hospital staff.

A full-time role is a four-day work week with generous vacation time and no buy-in requirements, offering an ideal blend of professional fulfillment and work-life balance.

Requirements

  • FRCPC in Diagnostic Radiology (or equivalent)
  • Eligible for full licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (CPSBC)
  • Fellowship training or demonstrated subspecialty such as MSK, body, breast or another area of radiology is preferred but not required
  • Strong procedural skills, collaborative practice style, and exceptional report-writing abilities, consistently delivering clear, accurate, and timely diagnostic interpretations that support high-quality patient care
