Diagnostic Radiology

Join our Regional Medical Imaging Team providing services for the Kootenay Boundary Region from the comfort of your home workstation with regular scheduled in-hospital workdays at Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital in Trail, BC. We read Medical Imaging studies from KBRH (Trail), KLH (Nelson), Castlegar and District Community Health Centre, Grand Forks' Boundary District Hospital, Slocan Community Health Centre, and Arrow Lakes Hospital in Nakusp.

Our facility includes a 1.5T MR, two CTs, 10 ultrasound units, a multiuse fluoroscopy room for basic interventional procedures, a diagnostic breast imaging center, nuclear medicine, and bone densitometry. We are currently building a hospital extension to house a brand-new MR suite.

Benefits

• 13 weeks or more of leave annually, with flexibility to accommodate additional leave as needed
• Eligibility for additional remuneration under the Rural Subsidiary Agreement (RSA), including:
  • Retention Premium: 11.48%
  • Retention Flat Fee: $17,791
  • Relocation reimbursement up to $9,000 (within BC), $12,000 (within Canada), or $15,000 (outside Canada)
  • Recruitment Incentive: $15,000
• Rural Continuing Medical Education (CME) funding: up to $6,600/year after 4 years in practice
• Eligibility for BC or Canada student loan forgiveness programs
