Diagnostic Mammography Technologist II
Responsibilities
The primary responsibilities include performing diagnostic mammography procedures, assisting with biopsies and other diagnostic interventions, and providing critical diagnostic information to physicians.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology.
- Certification: Certification in Mammography by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Certification: Certification in Mammography (M).
- Experience: 5+ years of experience as a Mammography Technologist.
- Special Qualifications: Knowledge of Mammography procedures and standards, extensive experience in diagnostic mammography, strong understanding of breast anatomy and pathology, excellent technical abilities and attention to detail, compassionate bedside manner and strong communication skills, ability to work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
