Responsibilities
- Performs routine to complex radiographic examination procedures.
- Uses diagnostic x-ray equipment such as fluoroscopic unit, the chest unit, and general diagnostic units.
- Prepares contrast materials under the direction of a radiologist in order to perform exams requiring injectable solutions such as IVP, cystogram, cholangiogram, fistulagrams, and arthrography.
- Performs oral and rectal exams using injectable solutions.
- Operates a fully digital x-ray system and highly technical digital and computerized radiographic equipment.
- Troubleshoots equipment used in diagnostic radiologic procedures and makes minor repairs and/or adjustments.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma.
- Completion of a CHEA- and JCERT-accredited Technologist training program.
- ARRT(R) certification is required.
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
- A minimum of two (2) years of proven clinical experience in Diagnostic Imaging in a Level 1 hospital setting.
- Must have proven clinical work experience within the past 12 months.
- Prior VA experience is desirable.
- No sponsorship available.
Pay
Pay Range: $52.16 - $107.90 hourly

- Lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist.
- Lift up to 20 lbs.
- Carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance.
