Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist

Responsibilities

• Performs routine to complex radiographic examination procedures.
• Uses diagnostic x-ray equipment such as fluoroscopic unit, the chest unit, and general diagnostic units.
• Prepares contrast materials under the direction of a radiologist in order to perform exams requiring injectable solutions such as IVP, cystogram, cholangiogram, fistulagrams, and arthrography.
• Performs oral and rectal exams using injectable solutions.
• Operates a fully digital x-ray system and highly technical digital and computerized radiographic equipment.
• Troubleshoots equipment used in diagnostic radiologic procedures and makes minor repairs and/or adjustments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• Completion of a CHEA- and JCERT-accredited Technologist training program.
• ARRT(R) certification is required.
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• A minimum of two (2) years of proven clinical experience in Diagnostic Imaging in a Level 1 hospital setting.
• Must have proven clinical work experience within the past 12 months.
• Prior VA experience is desirable.
• No sponsorship available.

Pay

Pay Range: $52.16 - $107.90 hourly
