About the role
The Diagnostic Imaging II/CT Technologist at Barrett Hospital & HealthCare operates ionizing equipment to produce radiographic images of body regions for diagnostic purposes, as ordered by a licensed medical provider. This position requires proficiency in both X-ray and CT modalities.
Responsibilities
- Operate ionizing equipment to produce radiographic images of body regions for diagnostic purposes.
- Communicate effectively with patients and an interdisciplinary healthcare team.
- Follow established departmental procedures and work efficiently.
- Demonstrate the ability to navigate emergent situations.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited 24-month course of study program in Radiologic Technology.
- Active Certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Active Radiologic Technologist License in the State of Montana with the Board of Radiologic Technologists.
- Advanced certification in Computed Tomography by the ARRT or one year experience in CT.
- Demonstrate evidence of compliance with ARRT continuing education requirements.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, required.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification, preferred.
Qualifications
Candidates must be able to demonstrate evidence of compliance with ARRT continuing education requirements.
Skills
Effective communication skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and the ability to handle emergency situations.
