Diagnostic Imaging Manager - Full Time, Day Shift

Role Overview

Manages the daily operations of the diagnostic imaging department, overseeing patient services, personnel, scheduling, finance, and equipment. Ensures compliance with regulations and standards, supervising staff activities with professional and supervisory judgment.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinating technical operations to ensure timely patient processing, prioritizing urgent procedures, and maintaining system integrity.
  • Supervising imaging personnel through recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
  • Managing quality assurance, evaluating new business opportunities, and implementing performance improvement initiatives.
  • Developing and overseeing departmental budgets, resource planning, and recommending new technologies to enhance productivity.
  • Ensuring compliance with HIPAA, accreditation standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Performing other duties related to department management and operations.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent; Master's preferred.
  • Five years of registered technologist experience; leadership experience is a plus.
  • Certification or licensure in ARRT (R, CT, MRI, M) or ARDMS or NMTCB is required.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage complex operations, ensure compliance, and evaluate new technologies.
