About the role

We are looking for a Diagnostic Coordinator (Powersports) to join our Service Strategy team. This role focuses on troubleshooting and diagnostics of our products, bridging the gap between New Product Development teams and the Global Services organization.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze, structure, and define potential problems through different sources and tools with a strong understanding of our vehicles and network impact.
  • Coordinate activities of different stakeholders to establish a rapid action plan for bringing the best adaptive solutions to our dealer network with appropriate validation.
  • Determine the communication required to share the resolution of identified issues.
  • Mobilize and collaborate with the BUDS team to improve product quality and minimize report rates.
  • Ensure all necessary information is gathered in alignment with BUDS team needs for analysis and investigation.
  • Cook up and build content to meet the needs of the network through blog posts, quick tips, and FPR.

Requirements

  • Passionate about finding and correcting electrical problems.
  • Technical college diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or relevant experience in serviceability or troubleshooting.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in diagnostics/electrical problem solving or a related field with a minimum of 3 years of product field repair.
  • Read and understand wiring diagrams.
  • Knowledge in the use of diagnostic tools and software: multimeter, OBD2 scanner.
  • Good knowledge of vehicle technologies (automotive, powersport or off-highway), through professional or meaningful personal experience.
  • Strong connection with BRP products and values.
  • Demonstrate good judgment in identifying risks and escalating issues when required.
  • Proactivity, positive attitude, and forward thinking.
  • Adaptable and fast learner.
  • Preferred previous knowledge and experience utilizing BUDs software.

Qualifications

  • Current work authorization required.

Skills

  • Passion for finding and correcting electrical problems.
  • Technical skills including reading and understanding wiring diagrams, using diagnostic tools and software, and knowledge of vehicle technologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn new tools and processes.
