Diabetes Educator
About the Role
Provides one-on-one and group teaching of dietary management to patients referred by physicians and practitioners. Actively participates in the development and instruction of nutritional classes for the Education Department.

Responsibilities
- Counsel patients in a clinical environment (3 years required).
- Teach group and one-on-one nutritional classes.
- Develop and instruct nutritional education programs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Foods and Nutrition.
- National CDR Registered Dietitian (upon hire).
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's Degree.
- Diabetes Educator Certification (National Organization, upon hire).
- 1 year experience in an outpatient setting.

Pay
The pay range for this position is $41.81 - $64.91 per hour. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.

Full time, Day shift.
