DFS Regional Director - West

Temco Logistics is an experienced provider of final-mile delivery services to leading retailers since 1968. As a product of our recurring success, we are now partnering with Home Depot to offer clients the Direct from Store experience—allowing customers to order online from their favorite Home Depot store and receive prompt delivery by Temco Logistics.

About the role

The Regional Director will oversee and provide strategic leadership to our Distribution centers across the Central region. This role drives operational excellence, manages the overall performance of Final Mile delivery markets, and ensures the efficient and safe operation of the regional distribution network.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and strategic direction for the Distribution centers within the region.
• Drive improved operational performance across the region to meet and exceed business objectives.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize distribution processes and ensure cost-effective operations.
• Foster a culture of safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement within the regional network.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify opportunities for growth and expansion within the Flatbed market.
• Oversee the management of staff, including recruitment, training, and performance management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a leadership role within the logistics or transportation industry, with specific experience in flatbed operations.
• Strong understanding of transportation and distribution operations, including knowledge of regulatory requirements.
• Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on driving continuous improvement.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
