About the role

As a DeWALT Customer Service Representative, you’ll be part of our T&O Commercial team working as an on-site employee in Addison, IL on a 1st shift Monday through Friday schedule.

Responsibilities

• Handle pricing, identify all items by catalog number and description, verify quantity, and extend all items on customer orders.
• Attract potential customers by answering product and service questions; drive incremental sales and suggest other products and services.
• Conduct customer sales and service both at the counter and via phone.
• Service customers on product application, features, benefits, and proper handling and maintenance.
• Make sales of services, programs, and products to customers.
• Resolve product or service problems by clarifying the customer's complaint; determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution; expediting correction or adjustment; following up to ensure resolution.
• Read schematics and determine parts needed for specific tool repairs.

Requirements

• Ability to work Monday through Friday full-time with additional hours as needed to meet customer demands.
• Bilingual proficiency preferred.
• Experience in a customer-facing role within a Retail/Service environment.
• High degree of integrity and accountability.
• Dependability, reliability, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Superior customer service and salesmanship skills.
• Excellent skills in Microsoft applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.

Pay

The hourly rate for this position is $21.50, with a range of $21.00 - $23.00 per hour. The rate offered may vary depending on job level, geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and compliance with local wage requirements.

Schedule

1st shift, Monday through Friday, with additional hours as needed to meet customer demands.
