About the role
As a DeWALT Service Technician, you’ll be part of our Product Services team working as an on-site employee in a production-style environment. You’ll handle repairs to all portable electric, pneumatic tools, construction equipment, and outdoor products.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot tool failure—fully or partially disassembling units to examine components for wear/defects and replacing parts that are worn or defective.
- Assist with maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
- Properly inspect, analyze, and repair tools and equipment for safe operation.
- Perform performance and safety testing on equipment after repair.
- Complete work orders using repair parts and labor to include pricing and pertinent customer information.
- Manage inventory by ensuring accuracy with parts and accessories.
- Achieve daily productivity goals on the amount of tools repaired.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Ability to interpret mechanical diagrams, wiring schematics, and printed servicing data.
- Knowledge of electricity principles and air flow as it applies to a power source for power tools.
- Ability to diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in power tools and equipment.
- Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations.
- Goal-driven mentality with a focus on meeting and maintaining daily/weekly/quarterly productivity goals without sacrificing quality.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Adaptability in using various technological systems and familiarity with data entry and record-keeping systems.

Pay
The hourly rate for this position is $22.00 - $26.00, depending on job level, geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and local wage requirements.
Schedule
1st shift, Monday through Friday.
