DevOps Engineer III

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our engineering team in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This is a contract position with work hours from 8am to 5pm.

About the role

In this role, you will play a key part in designing, building, and maintaining continuous delivery pipelines, automating cloud infrastructure, and supporting network performance initiatives to drive seamless customer experiences.

Responsibilities

• Automate application deployment and infrastructure management using tools such as Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Maintain and optimize CI/CD pipelines through Jenkins and implement tagging and branching strategies via GitHub.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve production software issues while building robust monitoring solutions.
• Collaborate with QA, software engineering, and external partners to ensure smooth release processes and overall product quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
• 6 to 8 years of relevant technical experience.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience with deployment automation tools (Puppet, Chef, Ansible) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins).
• Strong expertise in provisioning and managing environments in cloud/virtual infrastructures (AWS and OpenStack preferred).
• Solid background in system operations, network deployment, and scripting/coding.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with containerization platforms including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Background in data analytics, visualization, or performance testing for mobile/wireless networks.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional collaboration and technical partner management.

Pay

$50.66 - 60.66 per hour
