DevOps Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support reliable and efficient application deployments.
• Develop and manage cloud-based infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
• Collaborate with software engineering and QA teams to support development, testing, and release processes.
• Monitor system performance, availability, and security; proactively identify and resolve issues.
• Implement automation to improve system reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency.
• Support containerization and orchestration platforms to enable consistent application environments.
• Manage configuration, patching, and environment consistency across development, test, and production systems.
• Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure infrastructure and deployment practices comply with governance, audit, and security standards.

Qualifications and Experience

• Experience with CI/CD tools and pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar).
• Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Experience with container technologies such as Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
• Solid experience with the .NET ecosystem, including building, deploying, and supporting .NET applications.
• Working knowledge of Windows Server environments, particularly IIS.
• Scripting experience using PowerShell (preferred) and/or Bash.
• Knowledge of networking, security best practices, and monitoring tools.
• Experience creating, maintaining, and deploying applications using Helm charts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of experience in a DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or infrastructure-focused role.
