The Opportunity The Developer, Sales Technology is an early-career software and platform engineer who helps design, build, test, and support B2B-side Sales Technology capabilities. This role contributes to integrated solutions across commercial data, workflow automation, stewardship reporting, market activation, headless CRM patterns, agentic orchestration, and external data enrichment. The role works with developers, functional analysts, product owners, Scrum Leads, QA, DevSecOps, data teams, and business partners to deliver secure, maintainable components within an AI-First Accelerator Team model. The developer is expected to learn quickly, use approved AI-assisted engineering practices responsibly, and contribute to high-quality delivery under guidance from more senior engineers and technical leaders Key Responsibilities Assist in developing, testing, implementing, and supporting less complex B2B Sales Technology application, data, reporting, and integration components. Support user story refinement, technical estimates, design notes, test inputs, and delivery documentation in partnership with product and engineering teammates. Contribute to development using Python, Java, SQL, REST APIs, file-based integration patterns, and Azure-based delivery practices as appropriate to assigned work. Support data and reporting tasks involving Databricks, Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, Foundry, Power BI, structured data feeds, and source-to-target validation. Assist with integrations across enterprise platforms such as Salesforce/GB360, Seismic, SharePoint, Teams, Outlook, Microsoft 365, Power Automate, MarTech tools, MFT, BenefitFlow, and external data providers. Use approved AI-assisted development tools to support coding, debugging, documentation, test generation, refactoring, and technical research while applying human review and team standards. Participate in Agile routines including backlog refinement, sprint planning, daily collaboration, demos, retrospectives, defect triage, and release readiness activities. Participate in peer reviews of code, configurations, solution designs, data mappings, and deployment artifacts. Apply secure coding, access management, logging, monitoring, troubleshooting, dependency awareness, and operational readiness practices appropriate to assigned work. Assist in investigating defects, data issues, integration errors, production incidents, and service requests with guidance from senior engineers. Required Qualifications Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent work experience. 1+ years of experience in software development, application support, data engineering, AI/ML, automation, or other technical delivery work. Internship, academic, project, or professional experience developing, testing, or supporting software or data solutions. Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Python, Java, C#, JavaScript, TypeScript, or a comparable language. Working understanding of SQL, data validation, API concepts, source control, and software development lifecycle practices. Familiarity with Agile delivery, DevSecOps, CI/CD, peer review, testing, issue tracking, release readiness, or production support concepts. Interest in using approved AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity, documentation, testing, and learning. Ability to learn new platforms and technologies quickly and apply them to deliver high-quality work with guidance. Strong communication, collaboration, analytical thinking, problem solving, and attention to detail. Ability to work effectively with product owners, developers, analysts, QA, DevSecOps, data teams, vendors, and business partners. Preferred Qualifications Exposure to Azure, Databricks, Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, Foundry, Power BI, or comparable cloud data and reporting platforms. Exposure to REST APIs, event-driven patterns, file-based integrations, data mapping, reporting exports, or enterprise integration concepts. Familiarity with GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Claude Cowork, Azure OpenAI, or comparable approved AI productivity tools. Familiarity with Salesforce concepts such as Accounts, Contacts, Leads, Opportunities, Campaigns, Activities, reports, dashboards, or CRM workflows. Exposure to Seismic, SharePoint, Teams, Outlook, Power Automate, Microsoft 365, MarTech platforms, or sales enablement ecosystems. Experience with Power BI dashboard development, reporting validation, data reconciliation, or analytics delivery. Interest in agentic workflows, prompt engineering, MCP, workflow automation, content automation, or AI-enabled sales technology solutions. Experience in sales operations, marketing operations, insurance, group benefits, CRM, broker/customer engagement, or commercial technology environments. Location Expectation: This is a hybrid role requiring a minimum of 3 days per week in office. The expected salary range for this position is $76,050 - $112,500. This role may also be eligible for annual short-term incentive compensation. All incentives and benefits are subject to the applicable plan terms.
