Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications that support critical business needs.
  • Create and maintain shell scripts to support automation, deployment, and system monitoring.
  • Partner with QA, DevOps, application support, and product teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to shared team knowledge and best practices.
  • Troubleshoot issues, investigate performance concerns, and help ensure application stability.
  • Follow coding, security, and performance standards throughout the development lifecycle.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on professional experience in PL/SQL (Oracle).
  • Strong experience with shell scripting such as Bash or KornShell.
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and software design patterns.
  • Experience using GitHub or other version control systems.
  • Exposure to Linux/Unix environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-moving environment.

Skills

  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, Eclipse, and Toad.
  • Experience with Maven, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to learning and teamwork.
