Detail Technician I (Manheim)

As a Detail Technician I, you'll help prepare vehicles for sale by cleaning, detailing and inspecting them to meet auction-ready standards. What You'll Do In this role, you'll transform vehicles from arrival to auction ready. You will: Clean, detail and restore vehicle interiors and exteriors using professional tools, equipment and cleaning products.Perform deep-cleaning tasks, including washing, vacuuming, shampooing, polishing and detailing all vehicle interiors, exteriors, engines, wheels and trim.Prepare vehicles for sale by removing non-essential items, organizing materials (such as owner's manuals) and completing final quality inspections.Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.Assist with moving and staging vehicles, including driving vehicles within the auction area as needed. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program. Benefits Employees are eligible to receive a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, and parental leave.
