Description
- Highly proficient in fabrication, cold working, flap peening and jacking/shoring aircraft.
- Highly proficient in using technical data and drawings to locate part numbers and accomplish repairs.
- Ensure work performed adheres to high quality standards.
- Effectively direct the work of less experienced mechanics.
What You Need To Be Successful In This Role
- This position requires compliance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
- Candidates must be a U.S. Person as defined by ITAR (U.S. citizen, U.S. national, lawful permanent resident, or individual admitted as a refugee or granted asylum).
- A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
- A minimum of 1 year related experience and/or training.
- A minimum of an Airframe License required.
- May or may not have a Powerplant License.
- Computer keypunch experience preferred.
- Fluent in English (speech, reading, writing) required.
