Job Description

The responsibilities may include the following tasks, knowledge, skills and other characteristics.   • Conduct Venom Dissection and Bee Weigh Out procedures with strict adherence to safety and accuracy requirements.
  • Operate and maintain scales, balances, and manometers as needed.
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures while performing all job functions.
  • Perform dish and equipment cleaning.
  • Follow all gowning and hygiene requirements.
  • Proper use and sanitation of hoses and ports (including heat exchangers).
  • Clean and maintain the Raw Materials area in accordance with cGMP and site cleanliness standards.
  • Maintain accurate and complete documentation in accordance with cGMP standards.
  • Maintain compliance with all safety, environmental, and company policies and procedures.
  • Assist in the assembly and use of clarification equipment.
  • Maintain and accurately complete entries in the LUMAC log to track equipment usage and activities.

Qualifications

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • An Associate’s degree or college-level science coursework desired.
  • One year of relevant experience in a GMP-regulated, pharmaceutical, or manufacturing environment required.
  • Experience with venom or allergen processing, aseptic technique, and raw material handling preferred.

Physical Requirements

  • Lifting up to 50 pounds unassisted.
  • Repetitive activity: Pushing, Pulling, Prolong Sitting and Standing, Walking.
  • Exposure to allergens.
  • Some evenings and weekends as required.

Spokane, WA — On Site, Full-Time

Compensation & Benefits

  • Hiring wage: $25.00
  • Shift differential may also apply.
