About the role

The successful candidate will provide technical support to end-users, resolve hardware and software issues, and assist in maintaining a stable and secure IT environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide timely and effective technical support to users via phone, email, and in-person visits.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware and software problems using diagnostic tools and knowledge of operating systems and applications.
  • Document and track incidents and resolutions in the helpdesk system.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as virus scans, updates, and backups.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure smooth operation of the network and systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • At least 2 years of relevant work experience in IT support or a related field.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts and familiarity with common IT tools and software.

Qualifications

  • Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Knowledge of common IT support tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Office, antivirus software).
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Skills

  • Technical proficiency with troubleshooting and problem resolution.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Pay

  • $50,000 - $60,000 annually.

Schedule

  • Full-time position.
  • Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
