Desktop Support Technician

Our employee relationship managers support you throughout your engagement, providing career guidance and reemployment assistance. This is an onsite role in Latham, NY, providing end-user support as the face of the IT department. This is a 3-month contract with the possibility of quarterly extensions.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot hardware, software, wireless, and connectivity issues
• Image machines
• Perform standard hardware replacement
• Support manufacturing division and sales

Requirements

• Minimum 3 to 5+ years of experience
• Basic network background
• Proficient in Windows 11, laptops, and desktops
• Basic Apple knowledge
• Strong customer soft skills
• Manufacturing experience is highly desired
• Ability to work with tools
• Certifications are preferred, but not required
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship
• W2 employment only, no Corp to Corp

Pay

The rate for this position is between $24.00 - $32.00 per hour, unless local minimum wage is higher. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

Schedule

This is a 3-month contract with the possibility of quarterly extensions.
