Our client is currently seeking a qualified Desktop Support Technician to join their team onsite in Cambridge, MA and provide end-user support. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience supporting Windows 11 and Microsoft Office 365, providing exceptional end-user support, performing imaging, and assisting with device setup and migrations. Duties And Responsibilities Provide onsite desktop, laptop, and peripheral support for employees. Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows 11 and Office 365 applications. Perform system imaging, deployment, and configuration of end-user devices. Use ServiceNow to manage incidents, service requests, and ticket documentation. Assist with hardware refreshes, software upgrades, and user migrations as needed. Troubleshoot and resolve network, printer, and VPN connectivity issues. Maintain asset inventory and ensure compliance with IT standards and policies. Collaborate with other IT teams to resolve complex issues and improve service quality. Deliver professional, courteous, and timely technical support to all users. Skills And Qualifications Minimum 5+ years of experience in desktop or IT support roles. Strong working knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Microsoft Office 365 environments. ServiceNow experience required (incident/request management). Experience performing imaging, hardware setup, and user migrations. Familiarity with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and remote access tools. Excellent communication and documentation skills. Wage Range The rate for this position is between $22.50 - $30.00 per hour, unless local minimum wage is higher. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
