Desktop Support Technician - 2nd Shift
About the role
A TEKsystems client in Olive Branch, MS is seeking a Desktop Support Technician resource to assist in the support of PC’s, Printer’s and RF devices used by Global Logistics associates. Support can consist of; day to day trouble calls or user requests, supporting on-going projects related to these types of devices and routine device maintenance / upkeep.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot problems with PC’s, Printer’s and RF devices
- Communicate and follow-up with end users of various levels within the organization
- Provide excellent customer service
- Support Outlook / Microsoft Office / Word / Excel
- Supporting Zebra Label Printers
- Supporting RF (Radio Frequency) Devices (experience with Wireless Network Connectivity)
- Basic Networking skills to communicate with the Network Engineer
- Use ServiceNow Ticketing System
Requirements
- Reasonably adept in troubleshooting problems with PC’s, Printer’s and RF devices
- Experience with Laser Jet Printers
- Experience with Zebra Label Printers
- Experience with RF (Radio Frequency) Devices
- Experience with Microsoft Office 365/Windows 11
- Basic Networking skills
- Experience with ServiceNow Ticketing System

Pay
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
Schedule
Work hours are Monday to Friday, 2:30pm to 11pm.
Location
Candidate must work onsite in Olive Branch, MS.
Additional Information
Candidate must have a cell phone for receiving calls from Desktop lead or Manager regarding high priority tickets.
