Desktop Support Specialist

Position Overview

Provide technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in-person, including troubleshooting and training.
Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues, including operating system errors and application crashes.
Install, configure, and maintain desktop operating systems, software applications, and hardware peripherals.
Document technical procedures and maintain inventory of desktop hardware and software.

Requirements

• Knowledge of desktop operating systems and hardware, including laptops, desktops, and peripherals.
• Knowledge of software applications such as Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.
• Knowledge of IT security principles and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong time-management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• High School Diploma and 1-3 years of hands-on experience in technical support, with certifications like A+ or Microsoft certifications preferred.
