Desktop Support - Madison, WI - Contract - $22-32 Per HR Join a dynamic team responsible for maintaining and supporting a large-scale computer and network infrastructure. Based in Madison, WI, this contract role requires extensive travel across the state. Key responsibilities include setup, configuration, and troubleshooting of hardware and software systems, with a focus on customer service and technical support. Key Responsibilities Provide maintenance and support for software and hardware systems. Install, configure, and troubleshoot computer systems and peripherals. Deliver technical support and resolve customer issues effectively. Perform field service for hardware upgrades and technical issue resolution. Respond to system failures and emergencies efficiently. Qualifications Associate’s Degree in computer science, computer technician, or related field. Minimum 2 years of experience in hardware and software support. Experience with phone-based technical support. Ability to travel extensively within the region with a valid driver’s license. Excellent customer service and communication skills.
