Key Responsibilities

  • Drive the successful implementation of HOK's Design Technology initiatives within the regional practice.
  • Improve project delivery quality and efficiency through the strategic use of design technologies and BIM processes.
  • Support project teams with BIM planning, project setup, technology configuration, and workflow optimization.
  • Ensure consistent application of HOK technology standards while addressing regional project needs.
  • Build technical capabilities across the practice through training, mentoring, and ongoing support.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, information technology, or a related discipline is required, along with at least eight years of progressive experience in BIM, 3D modeling, design technology, or related project delivery technologies.
  • Prior experience leading BIM management initiatives and supporting project teams is preferred.
  • LEED Accredited Professional or Green Associate credentials are preferred.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Advanced knowledge of Building Information Modeling (BIM) platforms and best practices.
  • Expertise with Revit is required.
  • Proficiency with design and analysis tools such as Rhino and other similar tools.
  • Experience configuring and supporting design software environments.
  • Knowledge of remote computing environments and collaboration technologies is preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Understanding of sustainability principles, integrated design, and LEED guidelines.
  • Strong leadership, mentoring, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and support project teams in a fast-paced environment.
